Cindy Kaplan earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University in 1987, an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in 1991, and has completed courses towards an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
	Ms. Kaplan received her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University in 1995. While at Saint Louis University, she was on the Editorial Board of the Law Journal. Prior to entering her law career, Ms. Kaplan worked as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas Corporation in the area of flight controls while obtaining her M.S. and J.D. degrees. She has also practiced with the law firms of Senniger, Powers, Leavitt & Roedel, Morrison & Foerster, and Ritter, Lang & Kaplan Ms. Kaplan is a member of the California and Missouri Bars and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
